Dean Salita

Dean is the chair of the Minnesota Association for Justice Workers’ Compensation Division and the Occupational Exposure section of the national Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group.

Dean has testified at the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council and is active in legislative issues that affect firefighters. He is a frequent lecturer to other attorneys in continuing legal education seminars.

Doug Schmidt

Doug has over 40 years of experience practicing law. He as lectured at the University of Minnesota Law School and the Hamline-Mitchell Law School, as well as Gustavus Adolphus College and Northwestern Health Sciences University. He is a frequent lecturer at Continued Education seminars for both lawyers and medical professionals.

Josh is a frequent continuing education presenter for other attorneys at the Minnesota Continuing Legal Education Center and Minnesota Association for Justice.

Stephanie Schommer

Stephanie has been recognized as a “Top 40 Under 40” lawyer. She is a member of the Minnesota Association of Justice (formerly Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association), Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice (formerly American Trial Lawyers Association).

Stephanie is an experienced attorney, including wrongful death litigation. She balances aggressive representation with insurance companies along with empathy towards her clients and their families.

Mary Beth Boyce

Mary Beth practices in workers’ compensation, personal injury, and PERA/healthcare continuation law. Mary Beth worked with Dean on the legislation that created the COVID-19 Frontline worker presumption.

Mary Beth has argued before the Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals, Minnesota Court of Appeals and the Minnesota Supreme Courts. She has been a speaker at Occupational Medicine programs, legal continuing education seminars, and first responder organizations.
